Competing Cat Castles - Print and Play

Four kingdoms exist, in the cardinal directions of the map. The Snow Leopards in the mountains to the north, the Jaguars to the east in the plains, the Tigers to the south near the jungle, and the Lions to the west in the grasslands.  These four kingdoms have been at war for as long as can be remembered - and they’ve built nuance to their battle plans over the centuries.

The game uses a combination of luck and skill to win. With 2-3 players, skill will often win out over luck, and with 4, luck plays a larger role.  You CAN play this game with more than four players, though every added player means it's much more likely to be a luck based game.

Competing Cat Castles was designed because the author and artist prefers short, quick, games.  Too many games require immense setup. She much prefers games like Love Letter, which go quickly, because, as she says, "I'd rather play a TTRPG if the game's going to last more than two hours!"

This can be played when you're waiting for someone to get back from the bathroom, or from paying for the pizza, or to figure out their audio connection issues (if you're playing on steam). It can also be a fun game to determine player order for another game.

This is the ultralightweight print and play version of Competing Cat Castles, which is both a fully fledged physical game, and a mod for Tabletop Simulator.  

This version features simple black and white outlines and can be printed with minimal ink usage.  This of course gives you the option of coloring the cats in whatever combinations you desire.
